Abstract


This study aims to obtain an overview of the Work Motivation of Regional Employees of West Sumatra Province in terms of 1) responsibility, 2) perseverance, 3) achievement and 4) trying to produce results. This research is descriptive. The population of this study were employees of the Regional Employment Agency of West Sumatra Province who tested 75 people. To receive the sample in this study is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, obtained a sample of 48 people. The research instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The published questionnaire tries to find out its validity and reliability. The results showed: 1) the work motivation of employees of the Regional Employment Agency of West Sumatra Province in terms of responsibility in the high category with an average score of 4.20, 2) the work motivation of the employees of the Regional Employment Agency of the West Sumatra Province in the high category with an average score of an average of 4.15, 3) the work motivation of employees of the West Sumatra Province Personnel Agency in terms of achievement depends on the high category with an average score of 4.11, and 4) the work motivation of an employee of the Regional Personnel Agency of West Sumatra Province in terms of luck taken at high category with an average score of 4.12. Thus it can be denied that the Employment Motivation of the Regional Employees of the West Sumatra Province is in the high category with an average score of 4.15.
