The application of management information systems is an absolute thing for an institute, including libraries. For the library OPAC is very helpful for users in searching information, besides facilitating search, it also saves time. The application of library management information systems will be hampered if it is not supported by infrastructure and human resources as library managers. This research was conducted at the Regional Library of West Sumatra Province. This study uses a qualitative research method with one variable, namely the application of a library management information system, with data collection techniques through interviews. The research informants were 5 people consisting of 3 functional staff and 2 library visitors. The results of the study show that the application of library management information systems in the Regional Library of West Sumatra Province has been implemented but still has constraints on infrastructure and human resources.
